After working at major IT companies in Japan and the US, boutique consulting firms in the SF Bay Area, and incubators, Miyoko became independent in November 2012 and is currently active as the representative of Serend LLC, a business development support company. Serend  provides opportunity creation support, strategy setting, and hands-on business development support to startups, SMEs, large corporations, academia, and government agencies in the US and Asia. Miyoko resides near San Francisco.
