After graduating from the Design Department at San Francisco State University, he built a career creating businesses that fuse design and technology. As an official mentor for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Shido NEXT Innovator” program and a design mentor for Startup Weekend, as well as a fellow at Kyushu University and a mentor for the Entrepreneurship Department at Sojo University, he has supported the development of over 500 next-generation entrepreneurs and promoted startup growth in both Japan and the U.S.
He also serves as the Japan Representative of The AI Collective, the world’s largest AI community, leading international collaboration in the AI × design field, and works as an advisor to the City of San Francisco.
